Lover boy-John Dumelo on a night out in Accra did not get the usual greetings from women—this time, some robbers came his way.

According John Dumelo, he was making his way to his car at Labone, Accra when he saw that some people had broken into the car—they threatened to SHOT him if he came any closer.

These robbers pulled out his laptop bag, which had his laptop, some cash and his passport—and jumped into a taxi they came with.The actor took to instagram last night to post photos of his broken into car, which received several sympathy messages from his fans all over.

Let’s hope the star power works for him; the robbers may look in the passport and say ‘oh that is John Dumelo’, let’s at least return the passport to him…

Narrating what happened, John wrote; “Approximately 30 minutes ago thieves broke into my car in labone and made away with my traveling bags ( a black bag and a brown bag) including my laptop bag which has my passports and unspecified amount of money and other important items. The car the thieves were using was a black one door golf 4. With all due respect if do you come across the items Pls return it to the nearest police station. Or contact the cantonments police station on 0302 776571”

He later added that “I was walking towards my car when I saw them taking my stuff out into their car….they said if I didn’t stay away, they would shoot me. I just wanna thank God for my life….#Godforgivethem”
