Deputy General Secretary of NDC-Koku Anyidoho Says ‘Dumsor’ Has Overshadowed All Of NDC’s Achievements

At least the Deputy General Secretary of NDC-Koku Anyidoho realizes that ‘Dumsor’ is a bigger problem which has somewhat overshadowed Mahama-led NDC government’s achievement—that is if there are any real achievements out there at all.

Mr. Anyidoho told Peace Fm that “the NDC administration has brought a major facelift to Ghana and it can be seen in the massive road constructions that are taking place within the few years the party has been in office.”

Specifically, he said “Last time I used the off road of Madina and it has been well re-constructed. I even thought I was driving on the streets of a foreign country. You can see the solar light system installed by the side of the road. That tells you that a lot of work has been done countrywide.”

But he added that, “Dumsor’ has overshadowed every good thing we have done and we all know that nothing can thrive in darkness. When you live in darkness, it is extremely difficult to trumpet your achievements.”

So if the NDC knows about this, why have they not put all their guns at work to solve the ‘Dumsor’ problem? Perhaps, they just can’t do it—and even if given a whole century, they would’t be able to fix it.
