READERS’ MAIL: Sarkodie & His Team Have Proven to Be LIARS Who Throw Out Unnecessary Hype | From the False Akon Konvict Signing to Ace Hood Scandal

Sarkodie and Ace Hood

Sarkodie and Ace Hood

Dear Chris-Vincent,

When it comes to credibility in dealings, Sarkodie and his team have none left in the minds of Ghanaians and this is as a result of their constant search for some undeserving hype by blowing things out of proportion while lacing these things with LIES.

Do you still remember the Sarkodie and Akon issue?

We were in Ghana here when scores of media outlets including Sarkodie and his management threw dust into our eyes—claiming the artiste had been signed to Akon’s Konvict muzik. In fact, it later turned out to be a big lie as Akon only endorsed Sarkodie—nothing more than that.

At the time, headlines like ‘Sarkodie has gone international’, ‘Sarkodie signed by Akon’ and all manner of falsehood were peddled without Sarkodie clarifying anything. He was somehow part of the lies—and despite the disgrace he faced, he doesn’t seem to have learnt.

Now, after paying an American artiste-Ace Hood about 25,000 dollars to have him on his song, the same Sarkodie took to several interviews claiming that Ace Hood approached him and begged him for them to come out with the collabo.

He did not end there, he even started in an interview with Bola Ray that, he ADVISED Ace Hood in the studio as though a rapper stationed in Ghana who comes no where to Ace Hood has become the fountainhead of Ace Hood’s career.

Of course it was nice and a good move when Ace Hood finally exposed Sarkodie’s lies—killing all the claims and fans support that Ace Hood was somewhat desperate to work with our African boy.

Another big disgrace for Sarkodie but will he learn? Surely not, this guy seems too arrogant and boastful; the reason why he blows things out of proportion so to satisfy is inflated ego.

What is next? Are we going to hear Sarkodie says he turned down an offer to work with Jay-Z?
