Kwaw Kese Apologises for Weed Legalization Comment & Takes Down Post

Kwaw Kese

Perhaps Kwaw Kese is getting close to his menopause—it makes the men confuse…

Yesterday, the rapper who was recently convicted for smoking weed in Ghana boldly took to instagram to call for the legalisation of weed—claiming that 80% of Ghanaians smoke weed so this should be done for them.

He added that, since 80% of Ghanaians smoke weed, legalising the substance will give those people who have made that choice the freedom to enjoy the substance which sits on Ghana’s statute book as illegal.

It was an interesting comment for two reasons; we don’t know where he got the 80% statistics from—and also, Kwaw had a different attitude towards weed when his ganja case was in court.

Anyway, Kwaw Kese has taken the post in which he called for the legalization of weed now—saying, he was misunderstood and his family in particular did not like that comment.

This man has no balls. If you indeed believe in a call; stick to it and stop throwing your family displeasure out there as the reason why you are backing off.

Generally, freedom of expression gives you a constitutional right to mock anyone—and it even stretches to the right to offend others in some countries but surely, this is not the case in Zambia.

A Zambian musician-Pilato (real name Chama Fumba) recently released a song about a man named Lungu who carries a suitcase filled with whiskey and has no idea how to govern—and this has gotten him arrested, because the officials say it defames the president, Edgar Lungu, by accusing him of drinking too much and being incompetent.

Pastors Say GH¢67,000 Got Burnt In Church Fire Disaster But Members Say They Suspect Foul Play

The first question I asked after reading this story was; who keeps GH¢67,000 at the church when we have so many banks in Accra? And this is the same question members of Power Prayer Ministry based at Madina, Accra are asking…

According to the church pastors, a recent fire disaster which burnt down the church and the various items in the church also burnt an amount of GH¢67,000 which was being kept in the church, reports the Daily Heritage.

It seems like some ‘kpakpakpa’ movement is going on here—because, why would anyone keep such a huge amount in the church when the church has a bank account, only to come and tell members that fire has burnt the cash?
