Nigerian Musician-Yemi Alade SLAMS BET Awards For The Annual Disrespect Of African Acts | But She Cowardly DELETES Her Post Minutes Later

Africans will always be treated like trash because we like to suck up to foreigners—and we have no balls or boobies to say what we really think.

When something is wrong, we fear to say it because of our own selfish gains—because we fear we will be sidelined by the oppressors. But what is the point in sucking up to someone who does not respect you already? What is the worst the person can do?

Following Fuse ODG’s tweet last night with which he slammed BET for how they continue to disrespect Internatonal Acts (African/UK), rising Nigerian singer-Yemi Alade of ‘Johnny fame’ who was also a nominee in the 2015 BET International Act-Africa category took to her instagram to ‘bash’ BET.

But cowardly, perhaps, due to the fact that she thinks this will affect her career—she deleted her message. Before she even did, screenshots had already been taken by the blogs.

It’s sad that we cannot speak out when we are being grossly disrespected.

Fuse ODG has already taken the shot and instead of these artistes joining him, they are thinking about their individual positions and what they stand to loss—not the collective interest of Africa music.
