T. B Joshua Shares His Opinion on Same Sex Marriage & You Don’t Want to Know What He Ridiculously Said

J.B Joshua
J.B Joshua

T.B Joshua in the comment below says his standard is the Bible and as such, he will use that in discussing the on-going homosexual debate, following America’s nationwide legalisation of same sex-marriage.

On the face of it, many dim-witted individuals will accept his measuring standard, and only the few smart people will see the flaws in his measuring rod, the Bible.

First of all, America, Nigeria, Ghana and most countries in the world are not governed using the Bible, so basically when it comes to such issues—what the Bible says is pretty irrelevant, it’s what the law says that matters.

No one is asking anyone to edit their Bible or Holy books because such books are full of nonsense, written by deluded folks and at a time people genuinely believed diseases were caused by the gods/God—so we don’t have time for that.

We are only calling and talking about the law—the legal framework which dictates what is right or wrong in any legal jurisdiction, taking into considering the progress of humanity.

Secondly, I would be interested to know T.B Joshua’s take on slavery and if he would opt for the Bible as his measuring standard on this subject too.

Hypocritically, I am sure if he is confronted with the question of slavery, he will leave the Bible behind because the Bible clearly endorses slavery while the law forbids it.

Here, the man of God will leave his Bible and what it clearly commands behind, and tell us slavery is unacceptable—perhaps, because his race suffers most under this trade and also because it has been outlawed by the existing legal frame work.

However, when it comes to the issue of homosexuality or same sex marriage, he picks the Bible as his measuring rod—this time, not the law or even common sense.

The question is; why do these people make a joke out of themselves this way by cherry picking from a book which is said to be all good, all perfect and all Holy—written under the inspiration of a celestial father?

How do they know when to ignore the Bible and when to insist on its full application? Of course it’s obvious—when they are not the ones under the microscope.

Then again, why take the words of a charlatan like T.B Joshua who delivers people from homosexual demons serious—his understanding of the subject is deeply questionable.

  1. The man who wrote the bible “king James” in 1611 was gay and this is fact. So my question to religious folks is could it not be possible that he was divinely inspired by God to write the very book that they so much adore?

    • God is the real author of the bible.People were given prophesies and visions, they wrote his thoughts not theirs.King David may have never written about his scandal with Bathsheba but did because God Jehovah made him. When peeps say The whites wrote the Bible I laugh. When a boss asks his secretary to write a letter on his behalf who is credited with writing the letter?

      • So God wrote the Bible and marginalized women, endorsed slavery, and asked that people should be killed? Commanded the Israelis to commit genocide?

Asked that you should not gossip yet you are always on a gossip blog…LOL. So you mean God actually wrote the below passage?

1 Corinthians 14:34-35-New International Version (NIV) reads “Women[a] should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.[b]”

What a God you serve! Do you hear yourself when you talk?

        • Guy you are seriously beginning to sound Brian Griffin (family guy). You need to stand up to “the man” and express avert views or you won’t sound like the smartest guy in the room. am a die hard Christian and I want to say men like tb Joshua aren’t our spokesmen. They are semi permeable Christians who choose what to believe and what not to. certain things from the bible are misunderstood and these guys use it to their advantage. its like the guy who married his dog in cali cos a law stated if ever a time when a man and a man are allowed to get married for the same reason a man and his dog should too and he used that loop hole to marry his dog. Stop this I know better than everyone cos guy my iq level and that of yours aren’t on the same page

        • I serve a God who knows best than humans and thinks broadly not narrowly. If a boss asks a secretary to write something on his behalf, who is credited as the one writing the letter? He did not come down to write it,the writers wrote his thoughts. Also how can doctors, fishermen and warriors write something in agreement without haven met before if God was not behind it all?As to God saying women should keep silent during bible teaching was so that they do not interrupt the bible study going on.He allowed writers to use their thoughts but everything was in agreement with his thoughts and some things in the bible have deeper meanings so one has to study first before getting the true meaning.Something you can do,Mr know all.Am a sinner too partly the reason for being on a gossip site. But do u call this a gossip blog?Look you only cut and paste most news,Chris. You are even fortunate you have me.l,a ‘Nobody’ coming to ur site. You know a gossip blog?linda Ikeji blog!I read news two or three weeks early on her blog other than yours, wai

      • If the bible wasn’t written by whites then who wrote them? Africans? Chinese? Arabs? The bible is not a literal book, it is a book of symbolism and allegories. We look beyond the words to find what the writer is trying to convey. It is all about cosmic consciousness. And yes king James the 1 wrote the most magnificent versions of the bible ever which all Christians hold unto till today. He was gay and had a lover of 14yrs by name Esme Stuart. Google it for your own fact gathering.

  5. Please do not instruct people to stay off discussing the bible for it is in discussing it we learn or unlearn. Nothing is beyond limits to the inquiring mind. Come and give him facts or ignore him but let everyone question what they want to question.
