People are taking this opposition to same seks marriage too seriously. Human beings are such hypocrites.
I mean, you cannot tell me these people do not flout any of the guidelines in the bible they hold so dear. There are a million insignificant things you do every day that are sins, but you go to church on Sunday and pray for forgiveness and you think that makes you qualified to condemn someone else who is flouting the rules of your imaginary God who writes books.
Anyway, the entire Tennessee county clerk’s office has resigned en masse in order to forestall any possible gay marriage certificate requests that they would receive. They say it conflicts with their religious belief and rather than be forced to comply with the Supreme Court ruling, they choose to resign.
Deputy county clerk Gwen Pope, whose resignation takes effect June 14, said they were doing it for the glory of God, and not for publicity.
“It’s kind of sort of like you don’t want to draw attention to yourself for any reason.
“That’s not why we’re doing this. Not doing it in any way to draw attention to us. It’s for the glory of God. He’s going to get all the glory.”
Seems counterproductive then, to be doing something that is not for publicity, and then talking to the press about it. Anyway, new appointments would be made to replace those resigning in protest.
Pope also said that none of the employees have new jobs lined up, but that “I honestly believe God will take care of us.”
I have no sympathy for these people. It’s admirable to believe in your principles and stand from them; but when they’re steeped in hypocrisy, bigotry, and double standards, it’s nothing more than a publicity stunt.
And incidentally it is those engage in publicity stunts who shout the loudest that they aren’t.
they would be better off in leaving it in “God’s hands” to deal or fix whatever is bothering those clerks or authorities. if he doesn’t do anything then we know he hasn’t got a problem with that.

Let them be after all they are not killing anybody,what they did is very courageous and shows how much they are committed to their faith for Jesus,and just for that people should respect their decision.As people made the choice to have same sex marriage in the name of freedom ,let others people have their freedom by refusing to take part to it.
