The latest released FIFA rankings has seen the Black Stars move significantly from 34th to 25th in the world.

The jump sees Ghana move to 3rd in Africa, behind only Algeria and Cote d’Ivoire on the continent. The Black Stars comprehensive AFCON qualifying win over Mauritius and the friendly win against Togo contributing to the huge gain.

In Africa, Algeria stays top, ranked 19th in the world. Cote d’Ivoire is 21st, four spots ahead of Ghana. Tunisia, Senegal, Cameroon, Congo, Cape Verde, Egypt, and Nigeria round up the top 10 in Africa.

Argentina is first in the world, followed by world champions Germany, with Belgium, Columbia, and The Netherlands rounding out the top 5.
