Ghana politics is a sweet thing. After one faux pas on our second ladies part, everyone has suddenly become friends of Kukurantumi Presby School, from celebrities to opposing politicians.

I doubt they’ll mind much; after all they’re finally getting what they have been crying for. The big time politics at the national level holds little interest for them.

After the second lady vowed never to give the school even one box of chalk, reps of the NPP in Kukurantumi have donated boxes of chalk to the school.

According to Starrfmonline:

“Representatives of the main opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Kukurantumi in the Eastern region have donated boxes of chalk to the Presby primary school at Kukurantumi.

The donation comes in the wake of the controversy surrounding comments made by the Second Lady Matilda Amissah-Arthur while delivering a speech in the town Tuesday.

According to Starr News’ Eastern regional correspondent Kojo Ansah, the NPP executives who are infuriated by the remarks of the second lady stormed the school and made their chalk donation Friday morning.

Ansah also reports that parents of the pupils in the school are angry at the headmistress for “embarrassing” them before Mrs. Amissah-Arthur”

  1. Enough of chalk already! I am sure this school needs more than chalk. Stop stifling them with chalk and move on to their next need. And NPP, stop fishing in troubled waters.
