Asamoah Gyan might have moved further east to enjoy more money, but soon Muntari would be taking his captain’s place in the Arabian Gulf.

Saudi giants Al Ittihad have made a tempting €5m per annum offer to Sulley Muntari to join their campaign in the east.

Muntari was earning just over €2m at Italian giants Milan, so this would be a considerable step up in monetary terms if he takes this offer.

Muntari parted ways with the Italian club earlier this summer, after three years in the red half of the city, having turned up for the blue side for three years prior.

Muntari is currently on cloud nine, after his gorgeous wife Menaye finally provided him with the child they have been struggling for.
