Ten years ago, Yvonne Nelson contested for the Miss Ghana 2005 crown but lost.
On Friday (August 7), the 29-year-old actress shared some adorable throwback photos during her Miss Ghana days.
Yvonne took to her Instagram account to share the snaps. “Went to my mums and found these #missGH 10years ago,” she captioned the pics.
The photos was not welcomed warmly by some fans, as they accused the svelte actress of skin bleaching.
“Why did you changed your complexion?” one fan chided her. “You are more than Michael Jackson mpo”.

Even after all the bleaching she’s still struggling to find a man. So what was the point?
Its such a shame. She was more beautiful when she was dark.

Her mum is really beautiful. Yvvone wasn’t dark to begin with but I don’t know why she bleached tho. She was really pretty when she was darker. Time will tell…
