How many people have died due to attempted selfies? Being in the midst of rampaging bulls and attempting to film them sounds quite foolhardy because it actually is.

A 32 year old man has been gored to death by bulls during Spain’s Villaseca de la Sagra festival.

The festival features a bull running performance, where bulls are set free whilst people run alongside or ahead of them.

One young man was attempting to film the run, and whilst concentrating on one part of the bull run failed to see another bull coming from behind him.

The town’s mayor, Jesus Hijosa, said: “The young man was on the path of a bull run which he was filming with his mobile phone,” according to Mirror UK.

“A bull surprised him from behind and gored him in the neck.”

The man was rushed to hospital but died soon after from his injuries.

The rest of the festival was immediately suspended.
