It’s now official! Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are set out toward separation.
29-year-old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on-screen character and the 42-year-old Former Beverly Hills, 90210 star have thrown in the towel following five years of marriage, however Megan officially filed the divorce legal documents on Friday.
In the filing, Fox cites “irreconcilable differences” for the split and requests joint custody of their two sons. Since there was no prenup, the pair’s assets will be divided 50/50 due to the length of their 11 years long relationship.
According to TMZ, the divorce is “very amicable” as the two are still living in the same house.
The two had been together for a long time (11 years) before their astonishing split, getting married in Maui in June 2010. Megan cancelled her three-year engagement to the on-screen character in February 2009, after Green proposed in 2006.
He re-proposed to Megan again in 2010, not as much as a month prior to they got hitched in Hawaii. They initially met in 2004, when they both appeared on an episode of ABC’s sitcom Hope & Faith.
