Coach Avram Grant Names Squad For Upcoming Black Stars Games

The Black Stars are slated to take on Congo and Rwanda in upcoming internationals and coach Avram Grant has named a 24 man squad for the double header.

The Black Stars will play a friendly against Congo in Brazzaville on September 1 before travelling to Kigali three days later to take on the Amavubi of Rwanda in their second qualifying group stage match.

Grant gets back to work after spending so much time outside the country the GFA plans to query him. He apparently flouted some provisions in his contract, which calls for him to spend a certain period of time in the country monitoring the local league, talent, and other commitments.

In team news, Andre Ayew makes his comeback after missing the first qualifying game, whilst Chrisitan Atsu returns in time from injury. And for those keeping track, yes, both Jordan Ayew and Afriyie Acquah made the squad- *wink*
