George Boateng- The Man Contesting President Mahama For Flagbearer Of The NDC Says Gays And Lesbians Would Be Executed By Firing Squad Under His Regime: He Is Just Echoing What Ghanaians Think

A few days ago the hitherto unknown George Boateng announced picked up his forms to contest President John Dramani Mahama during the upcoming NDC primaries for the position of flag bearer.

Nobody has been taking him seriously so far, with General Mosquito even jokingly saying he should seek psychiatrist help. However, I believe comments like these would certainly get people to notice him.

Knowing how Ghanaians think though, I think our thought process would gravitate away from the proper way to deal with utterances like these.

Speaking on Anopa Kasapa on Kasapa FM, George Boateng passed the following comments to Fiifi Banson.

“There is too much indiscipline in Ghana, under my presidency when a corrupt person, gay or lesbian are arrested the law will make it possible for the courts to sentence the offender to death by firing squad. It will be a public event to be witnessed by all to serve as a deterrent. There must be a house cleaning exercise to clear all such terrible acts from the society”.

Luckily, it’ll be a cold day in hell before we see George Boateng at the helm of Ghana. Opinions like these are dangerous  not only because they are absurd, bigoted, and stupid; it speaks to the mind of someone stuck in the 7th rather than the 21st century.

Look all over the world and which are the systems whose laws allow for the killing of LGBT’s? African dictatorships, extreme Islamic regimes, and ISIS. I don’t think you want to put Ghana in a box next to any of these regimes.

More worrying, more worrying; is that a huge chunk of the populace would actually agree with this. I know, because it has been demonstrated many times. Whenever these issues of violence against gay people come up, you detect from the commentaries how sick our mindset is; how we can revel in the gory misfortunes of others because we think a god disapproves of their actions.

After Nazir and his cohorts left to join ISIS we were so worried of ISIS coming to Ghana. Why worry, when we already have them down here. Just send a gay person to Nima or indeed many other conservative communities across the country and see Ghana ISIS in action.

I wish, I just wish the way we trust our mobile phones, and televsion sets, and airplanes; that we would listen to those smart guys when they talk about how gay people should be treated. Why? Because they’ve done way more demonstrable good than any imaginary god you put up against them.

  1. Another foolish inbred ignorant moron, instead of echoeing the warning to the corrupt officials you are rather aiming it at the innocent ones. As a presidential aspirant isnt the country’s economy and its well-being rather be your main focus? We as humans are not in any position to judge others as we all full of sins. With such ideology you would NEVER EVER become a president of Ghana.
