The mother of Ghanaian Dance hall Artiste, Stonebwoy who passed on to eternal glory was laid to rest on Saturday morning.

Stonebwoy’s mother, Catherine Satekla, passed away on Wednesday, July 29 at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra after a short illness.

Stonebwoy expressed his gratitude to the media and fans that have been there for him through the hard times.

“Thanks for the condolences and love shown from the media and everyone, I’m going to be strong as my name describes.”

The 2015 Best African Act of the BET Awards who was devastated upon hearing the death of his beloved mum tweeted; “MAMA!!! Only Jah knows.”
