Ghanaian actress-Ama K. Abebrese is that one actress we always knew will hit the bigger screens—before most of her colleagues despite having joined the industry a little late. And it is because of her seriousness as an actress, her great talent, her humility and desire to learn.

Starring in a movie will Idris Elba, the man tipped to be the next James Bond is a great achievement for any West African actor—and we know certain people who wouldn’t have given us any breathing space on social media if they had achieved this. But Ama K. Abebrese has remained humble about her achievement…

The official trailer of this movie ‘Beasts of No Nation’ has been released and as Netflix announced earlier this year, the movie “will open in select cinemas in the US and on its streaming platform for the rest of the world”

Netflix stated a few months ago that “Beasts of No Nation is a powerful film that unfolds beautifully in the hands of director Cary Fukunaga, with Idris Elba delivering a career-defining performance.

We are so proud to bring a film of this calibre exclusively to Netflix members around the world at the same time as it appears in select theaters.”

Beasts of No Nation tells a story of a West African military leader (played by Idris Elba) who drafts a young boy into his army of child soldiers…

Beast of No Nation which was partly shot in Ghana attracted an outrage from Ghana’s Film Producers Association-FIPAG, who claimed Idris Elba and the other cast members SNUBBED them when they visited Ghana.

Following this, Deal Real Productions, the company that brought Idris Elba and the others to Ghana wrote to GhanaCelebrities.Com to apologise to FIPAG…
