Man In Ghana Dies After Fishing In A River Considered Taboo

Superstition

I’m afraid so long as we remain in the grips of our superstitious beliefs, which are rooted in tradition and religion; no death would be free of attracting underlying explanations.

Recently the death of a 13 year old was ascribed to him burning a bible, and amazingly the responses of glee from some Ghanaians at the death of a 13 year old did not become a bigger scandal.

In Tunfa in the Eastern Region, a man has died after an unknown creature bit off part of his p*nis whilst taking a dip in a river.

He had allegedly gone fishing in the river body with a friend, despite it being considered taboo to do so, adomonline reports.

After fishing, he entered the River Rodu to cleanse himself, and that was when the unknown creature bit off his dingdong.

He died on the way to hospital.

A local fetish priest is reported to be furious with the two friends for committing an abomination, as it could bring calamity on their town.
