A Brong Ahafo regional correspondent for Peace FM, King George was shot dead by armed robbers whilst returning from Sankore on Thursday.

Reports indicate the 35 year old went to conduct investigations on various controversies surrounding the use of fertilizer by farmers at Sankore, and met his untimely demise whilst on his way back.

He was accosted by armed robbers, who shot his from close range. His body has since been deposited at the Goaso Government Hospital morgue. He is survived by his wife and one child.
