The hologram technology has been used for musicians sporadically, but a full world tour is unprecedented for now.

A deal has been signed for the hologram of the late singer to embark on a world tour sometime within the next year. Pat Houston, signatory of the estate, signed the deal with Hologram USA.

The deal is for the company to use the hologram of the singer in their shows across the USA, and then a subsequent world tour.

“It’s a great opportunity for her fans to see a reinvention of one the most celebrated female artists in history and to continue a legacy of performances that will not be forgotten in years to come,” Pat Houston said in a press release.

“I look forward to the partnership.”

Hologram USA CEO Alki David also commented on the partnership.

“The opportunity to help share her spectacular gifts with the world again is exactly what I hoped for when I built the hologram business,’ said the Greek billionaire.

“We’ve got technology that’s causing a seismic shift in the entertainment industry, and a wonderful partnership with Pat Houston and the estate – I’m confident we’ll create the ultimate celebration of Whitney’s amazing artistry.”

Whitney Houston was found in drowned in her bathtub three years ago, bringing down the curtain on a legendary career. Her daughter Bobbi Kristina died in similar circumstances a few months ago.
