Ebo Barton Odro, the member of parliament for Cape Coast North and First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, has donated furniture worth 9,987  cedis to the Imam Khomeini Islamic School in Amamoma, Cape Coast.

Presenting the gifts to the school, the MP indicated that the gesture was in fulfilment of an earlier promise he had made to the school to present them with logistics to help improve upon their academic performance. Hon.Ebo Barton Odro advised authorities of the school to ensure the items presented are properly maintained.

According to him, his presentation to the school forms part of his commitment to reducing the pressure on the central government for infrastructural development in our local communities.

The head teacher of the School, Otto Paku, receiving the presentation thanked the MP for his kind gesture especially in fulfilling his promise to the school. He promised his outfit will ensure that the items are protected and solelyused for the purpose they were presented.

Mr. Paku further appealed to government to provide enough funds to speed up work on a new classroom block which is currently under construction.
