UK Based Ghanaian Actor-Atto Erick Scores 2015 ZAFAA Global Awards Nomination in Best Supporting Actor Category

Talented UK based Ghanaian actor-Atto Erick has scored a nomination in this year’s ZAFAA Global Awards—competing with Tunji Oyemwimi and Danny Erskine in the Best Support Actor (UK) category for his role in ‘For the Love of Money.’

Best described as that handsome versatile Ghanaian actor, Atto Erick started his career in Ghana and featured in movies like College Girls / Efia And Friends, War Against Woman, Rain, Gambling Of Love, Tribe, Legon Demons, 14th February, Speechless, Sasha, Shadow In The Dark, Touch My Soul, Kiss My Tears and Bed Of Roses and several others—before relocating to the United Kingdom.

In the UK, Erick has starred in several movies with his recent out in the market film being ‘For the Love of Money.’

The last time we caught up with Atto Erick, he told us he is that actor who is extremely selective with the sort of scripts he accepts and pays special attention as to who the Director of a film will be.

He said; “in accepting scripts, I first consider the script in relation to my personality. I know as an Actor, you must be dynamic and be able to fit any character.

However, we must be true to ourselves and know that, certain roles demands a lot of time to get into character. Some roles even will demand a study of a whole language (accent)…

So after considering the script, I look at what the character is required to do, the time frame and how best I fit or can fit into the role.

If possible, I also check the storyline and more important the Director. What people forget is that, Directors are those who make great and bad actors…”
