Takoradi became the center of attraction over the weekend when Excellence In Broadcasting (EIB) Network, owned by Nathan Kwabena Adisi (Bola Ray) & Kwabena Duffuor, re-launched Empire 102.7 FM.

The official launching ceremony which took place on Saturday morning was crowned with a mammoth street carnival in the evening. Even though several artistes, including 4×4 performed on the night, Pappy Kojo was crowned artiste of the night by the fans.

The whole place was set ‘ablaze’ when he mounted the stage to perform; and this was dominant till he performed his last song.

Pappy Kojo is an indigene of Takoradi so we are not taken aback at the extraordinary support he gained from his own people.

However, we want to know if he really deserved the kind of support he gained based on his performance. Did his talent gained him that much support or the people of Takoradi just wanted to support their own?
