The committee set up by the Chief Justice to probe the Anas expose on corrupt judges is suspending activities for the next month.

The reason for the sudden postponement of sitting is not exactly clear, but speculation is that Anas is leaving the country and thus would not be available to attend the hearings.

The five member panel was set up by the Chief Justice to probe the allegations of corruption brought against the judges with the release of Anas’ expose into the judicial service.

Ghana In The Eyes Of God: Epic of Injustice, was the culmination of two years investigative work by Ghana’s ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas. The video, which was publicly aired last week, shocked and disgusted many people as they saw the state of justice delivery in Ghana.

The committee has been working to try and determine if there is a case to be made against the judges, but has had progress stalled with countless lawsuits by the embattled judges. This delay is not going to help one bit.
