Ace comedian and social commentator Kweku Sintim-Misa (KSM), always has interesting opinions to share on any issue. And he is damn funny too, so that gives him more points in my book.

The comedian was on Starr FM’s Morning Starr program Thursday morning with Nii Arday Clegg. The pair spoke on many issues, including who he would rank as the best presidents of the fourth republic.

Ghana’s fourth republic came into existence in 1993, when the PNDC headed by Jerry John Rawlings handed over to the NDC headed by Jerry John Rawlings.

Since then, we’ve had three other Johns as President; Agyekum Kuffour, Evans Atta Mills, and Dramani Mahama.

KSM was asked to rank them in order of who he thinks performed the best. According to him, President Kuffour was the best we’ve had since 1992. After him came Mills, Mahama, and then Rawlings in last.

“I would give Kufuor 75% and number two would be Mills…75% too, Mahama is at 70% and Rawlings 69%,” KSM told Nii Arday Clegg.

“The reason I give Kufuor 75 is purely on his leadership skills…there is something about it that I find very appealing… [And] even though they are slightly different in some ways I like their (Kufuor and Mills) leadership style.

“President Mahama, considering the enormity of things that confronted him and his ability to stay calm and weather the storm, I think it is something that people should learn. As a leader you must not openly panic even when it calls for certain radical measures.

“Rawlings is not the last in the sense that he has the worst leadership style…errrm it is difficult so I would leave it at that.”

How right did KSM get it?
