Despite Jon Snow having been spotted on set of Season 6’s Game Of Thrones and blogs having posted photo proof that Snow is alive in the next season, Maisie Williams who plays Arya Stark says Jon is really dead.

Of course we saw him dead and we know he is dead—but would he stay dead? That should be the question and not whether Jon Snow is dead or not.

HBO executives have been doing all they can to keep fans off the trail, with even Kit himself lending a hand. And even though he was spotted going into Belfast where filming was taken place, he could have been there to shoot funeral scenes or any number of other innocuous scenes.

However, new photos off the set in Belfast show otherwise. The eldest remaining Stark is seen in full gear, with a sword on his hip and everything. He does not look like a man shooting funeral scenes.

Secondly, he is not dressed in Night’s Watch garb, but is decked out very similar to the way his father Ned and brother Robb used to dress. ie, as a Stark,”  GhanaCelebrities.Com wrote last month.

The latest on the Jon Snow talk is Arya Stark, who has revealed that Jon Snow is definitely dead, despite reports and speculation that the character will return.

In an interview with Absolute Radio’s Christian O’Connell on his breakfast show, Arya revealed: “All the time people are asking me if Jon Snow is alive and the answer is no! He’s dead! I promise.”

Last season ended with Williams’s character Arya blinded as punishment for murdering Ser Meryn Trant.

“In the new season my character is blind, which means I’ve been wearing contacts on set, which is a good laugh,” she said.

As to what GOT fans should expect for next season, she said: “I’m aware of the other storylines – we’re given the full script at the beginning of each season so we can read ahead – I always flick through my story first, the suspense is too much. I have to see what I’m up to first and then what other people are up to but it’s never the same as seeing on screen – it’s nice to watch and get the full effect.”
