But a preacher in the pulpit engaging in such blatant revisionism is just par for the course for these illiterate conmen who have garnered huge following of credulous fans.

Bishop Daniel Obinim, founder and leader of the International Gods Way Church, in a sermon said people can have children whether they are married or not. As there is no evidence of any marriage rites being performed between Adam and Eve, so does Obinim believe there is no need for the bonds of marriage for people to give birth.

“When you are presented with marriage and children, choose the children because you can never afford to have children, a man can live with a woman for some time and God would bless their union even without the consent of your parents”. he told his congregation.

“God blessed the union between Adam and Eve without Adam performing marriage rites to any family, He blessed the union directly and He would do same for you even with your parents being unaware” he argued.

The pope is probably having a fit in Rome right about now. Obviously I support people’s rights to decide when to give birth, irrespective of societal restrictions like marriage which Christians are trying to say they invented; but like I said if you’re a pastor and you say you are living your life by that first century book, the least you can do is read it well.
