The veteran singer is set to sing at Copacabana in Brazil on New Year’s Eve, to usher in the New Year.

According to TMZ, the singer should bag between $2-5m for the night’s work.

It would be a busy time of year for Carey, who is making her directorial debut with a Christmas movie for Hallmark.
