Another celebrity divorce, colour me surprised.

Halle Berry has filed for divorce from her husband Olivier Martinez. The pair made the decision to part after merely two years of marriage, due to what they term ‘irreconcilable differences.’

The couple issued a joint statement addressing the divorce…

“It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce. We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son. We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and most importantly our children’s privacy, as we go through this difficult period.”

The couple have been married for two years, and have a two year old son Marco. They have a signed pre-nuptial agreement and expect the entire proceed smoothly and without any complications, TMZ reports.

Halle Berry has an elder daughter, Nahla, fathered by her ex- Gabriel Aubry. This would be the Oscar winning actresses’ third divorce.
