Ghanaian high life artiste Ronald Kweku Dei Appiah, popularly known as Bisa K’dei- says that way before he released his latest song ‘Mansa’, he was optimistic that it would become a huge hit.
The hardworking musician disclosed that he is not shocked to witness how successful the song has been so far—because he knew definitely that ‘Mansa’ would be the talk of town.
“When I programmed the instrumentals of the song, I had an inner conviction that the song would be a hit. I said to myself that this song is going to put Ghana on a different level, so I kept thinking of whom to give the song to for mastering.
According to Bisa K’dei, he was motivated when one of Ghana’s best song engineers Kaywa, endorsed ‘Mansa’ as one of the best highlife tunes being produced in the country.
“I sent the song to Kaywa for mastering and he blessed and assured me that the song would make it on the music scene. I have a long term relationship with Kaywa but for once, it was very refreshing to hear him endorse Mansa as the true meaning of highlife,” he said.
Bisa K’dei rose to fame after he composed a sound track for a local movie titled ‘Azonto Ghost’.
He is one of the finest musicians Ghana can boast of, having received a lot of endorsements for his hard work.
Bisa K’dei recently lost his beloved mother to death—after she battled a short illness.
