It seems Simon Cowell’s prediction last week that the energetic duo would go all the way to the final is looking more likely than ever, as they defied the odds to beat both Lauren Murray and 4th Impact from landing in the bottom two.
Whilst the musicians have been criticised in the past for their vocals, it was their performance skills that once again had the room on their feet, with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini even jumping in at the end to perform.
Although the X Factor judge faced somewhat of a backlash for her ‘cringeworthy’ dance moves, it didn’t stop the public support flooding in for Reggie and Bollie’s performance of Silento’s Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae).

The week before, the duo performed a colourful mash up of Ghanaian-born musician Fuse ODG’s Dangerous Love and Walk the Moon’s Shut Up and Dance. At the end of the track, Simon Cowell joined his colleagues and the cheering crowd for a standing ovation, declaring “WOW”. And even FuseODG gave the musicians his seal of approval, tweeting:
