After her resignation, attention has been on the diminutive broadcaster, as people try to anticipate her next move.
Until now, the biggest theory is that she would end at GHOne TV, the newly rebranded station now owned by the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) Network.
However, Razz Newspaper now claims that Nana Aba Anamoah is rather headed to United Television (UTV), owned by Osei Kwame Despite of the Despite Group of Companies. That destination would be a real curveball that no one has been looking at, mostly because UTV is a local language station.
Other stations in the Despite stable includes Peace FM, Okay FM, and Neat FM.
According to the newspaper, negotiations are far advanced to get Nana Aba to the station. UTV is currently one of the most watched in the country, not least due to their broadcasting in Twi, and their uber popular Mexican Soap Operas.
For news though, they have not gained the reputation of a station like TV3- and maybe that would be Nana Aba’s core mandate, if she does end up there.
