Republican frontrunner for the US Presidential nomination, Donald Trump; hosted this weekend’s edition of the long running sketch comedy show ‘Saturday Night Live’

Trump is no stranger to television, having hosted Celebrity Apprentice for years. In typical Trump fashion, he took over with barely concealed braggadocio, claiming a lot of greats, like himself- had hosted the show in the past.

The Presidential candidate’s appearance follows closely on a similar attempt to connect to fans by Hilary Clinton, who also appeared on the show. Hilary, though, appeared as a guest rather than a host.
