American country music star, Blake Shelton has saved a group of two young guys who were stuck in a mudslide for about 2 hours.

Blake Shelton, who was in the company of his dog, Betty, met two young guys namely; Bryar Blanton and Adrian Poplin—who were looking for help to rescue two of their friends—Lenyell Blanton and Josh Turner, who were in distress.

Luckily, Blake hurriedly went to the rescue of the guys. The incident reportedly happened near the Washita River in Ardmore, Oklahoma in the United States on Friday.

Bryar Blanton narrating the incident to ET-Online said they were shocked to notice later that it was Blake Shelton who came to their rescue.

“Me and my buddies were checking out the river, when some of my buddies [accidentally] slid into a big mud hole and got stuck for about two hours,” he explained. “Me and Adrian started walking down the road [looking for help] and [that’s when] Blake and his dog, Betty, stopped and picked us up in his truck.”

“He told [Adrian and I] to hop in,” he continued. “Then, we went back to the river [where my friends were stuck] and he tried to get them out with his truck. He couldn’t do it, so he said he would be back in 15 minutes with his tractor.”

“I was just like, ‘Heck yeah!’ and asked him for a photo with us,” he added. “He lives about 45 minutes from me.”

Bryar also noted that Blake was a cool guy. “After he helped us out, he talked to us for a minute then said he had to go,” he told ET. “He had his bow with him and he talked to us about hunting. He’s an all-around nice, caring guy.”

Bryar later took to his Twitter page to express his sincere appreciation for Blake’s kind gesture.”Just wanna thank you for helping us yesterday man,” he tweeted.

“No problem.. Now you boys stay outta jail!!! Ha!!!,” Blake Shelton wrote in response to Bryar’s tweet.
