Yvonne Nelson Says There’s Something WRONG With You If You Think Having No Electricity is Normal

Ghanaian actress who just returned to Ghana after celebrating her 30th birthday abroad came back armed with anger—still over Dumsor.

Since her led-Dumsor protest earlier this year, nothing has really happened and from her own tweets, it seems the electricity problem in Ghana has even gotten worse.

Frustrated with the government and the fact that she went for days without electricity, Yvonne Nelson took to twitter yesterday to rant—throwing some of her words to every Ghanaian who sort of thinks the absence of power in their homes is normal.

According to Yvonne Nelson, the reason why Ghana has unending electricity problem is our leaders—they got us here, she said.

And that was not all, she also asked; is it a curse or greed that going is facing these difficult times?

Considering the rants, should we be expecting another Dumsor protest led by Yvonne Nelson—or has she already given up?

Still on Ghana’s power crisis, Ghana’s esteemed power Minister, Dr Kwabena Donkor, is thinking of staying on beyond December 31 despite quite clearly failing to fulfil his promise of resigning if he fails to end the power crisis by December 31.

Speaking in the Central Region, the Minister when asked about his famous deadline, and whether he could meet it, said “Well let’s wait and see.”

So if he did not end the dumsor by December 31, would he go through with his promise?

“Load shedding is not ‘dumsor,’ they are two different things” he sharply replied the journalist questioning him.

  1. She has started again – ATTENTION seeker because nobody is minding her. In the last few days she’s fighting shatta wale, Ghana police service and the government of Gh all in public with hopes that one of these agendas will get her attention.
Yvonne take a chill pill ok these stunts are getting stale

    • Foolish person whoever you are calling yourself CL. Who cares if she’s seeking attention? We have a problem in Ghana and people like you criticize the few brave ones that speak up… and Chris you should do a better job using your websites to educate Ghanaians to speak up and support people like Yvonne Nelson who are not afraid to stand up for her rights. Instead you criticize her all the time even when she’s trying to do good for the nation.

  2. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ATTENTION SEEKING! A LOT OF GHANAIANS ARE SCARED OF TELLING THE TRUTH.WHEN YOU THEREFORE STANDOUT TO TELL THE TRUTH YOU ARE IMMEDIATELY STIGMATISED.
