Controversial Ghanaian hiplife artiste Belinda Nana Ekua Amoah, known in showbiz circles as Mzbel- has opened up on why she sacked an ‘inquisitive nanny’ she hired over three years ago.

The ‘legelege’ singer said she had to let go of her nanny after just a few months on the job because she added some unassigned duties to her mandated ones.

As the saying goes…“The inquisitive monkey gets a bullet in the face”- and Mzbel fully demonstrated that by showing her the exit for being nosy.

“I fired my nanny because she was getting into my business and I just had to let her go. What she was doing was just too much so I did what I had to do,” she said during one of her ‘Bel and the City’ episodes aired on GHOneTV.

According to her, being in charge of house chores and taking care of her baby after the nanny left has been a huge task.

“Ever since she left, I have been doing everything on my own. Now I do all the house chores, I do the cleaning, the sweeping, checking on the kids and trust me, it is not easy being a mother,” Mzbel revealed.
