Slipping back into old habits is often the easiest thing in the world. You are so comfortable with it that it feels soo natural.

Selena Gomez swore off Justin Bieber for good after their last break-up, so hurt was she by the singer’s roving hands. Yet, the pair were spotted together twice in quick succession over the weekend.

The pair went out in Beverly Hills on Friday night, and then together again to Justin Bieber’s AMA’s after party. They were practically inseparable at both, although they took care to keep their hands to themselves.

TMZ reports the pair are just agreeing to be friends again for now, although there is something definitely going to happen soon. HollywoodLife reports the only reason they aren’t going out is because they aren’t ready to deal with the media circus yet.

A source tells the site…

“They both have an understanding that how they are playing things now is the exact route things should progress for the time being. They are going to hang out, and have their meet-ups, but they will not endure the media circus they would get into if they went exclusive again with each other. Selena wants more, but is accepting the way things are going because it allows her to still be in Justin’s life,”

In a recent interview, a nostalgic Bieber said he still loved Gomez dearly, and replied in the affirmative when asked if there was a chance of the getting together again.

“Maybe? We have a lot of history together and I am sure it could possibly happen.

“She is someone I love dearly. I’m never going to stop loving her. I’m never going to stop checking in on her.”

That happened quicker than expected.
