The website of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), knust.edu.gh– has been hacked by a Moroccan hacking squad.
The group is describing themselves as the Moroccan Mujahideen team. The site takedown occurred around 1900 GMT Tuesday, and despite numerous reports the site has not been restored, it remains down as at the time of this report.
The website of the Ghana Postal service also suffered a similar takeover.
According to the hackers, (all mistakes theirs) “this hacking is for send our message to you we want to tell you that the sahara is Moroccan And that you have committed a big mistake when you recognized at front polisario And they will pay the price the sahara is moroccan and will remain moroccan finish We are Moroccan We are MujahiDeen”
