The decider of the 2015 Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) H.P Nyemitei Cup took place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.

League winners Ashantigold took on Asante Kotoko in a tense affair that got decided by a last gasp winner for Kotoko.

In a pre-season affair that saw both sides trying out several new additions, the game remained in a stalemate for much of both halves, as the teams cancelled each other out.

However, just when it seemed like penalties were imminent, Eric Donkor curled in a sumptuous freekick to hand Asante Kotoko the win to ameliorate the feelings of failure from a trophy less season.

The annual cup competition is held by the body in honour of Henry Plange Nyemitei, former director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and Accra Hearts of Oak.
