Once again Ghana Police and state prosecutors have displayed their massive incompetence for everyone to view. Despite arresting this guy with much fanfare and proclaiming the ‘evidence’ found at his house, they were somehow unable to earn the conviction.

Anyone following the case and seeing how the prosecution were going about their case knew that this day coming was inevitable.

Micah was arrested during the zenith of the Asamoah Gyan-Sarah Kwabla case, as he was allegedly implicated in the extortion scheme against the Ghana captain, and then police hit him with the separate charge of marijuana possession after allegedly finding a ton of the stuff at his residence.

The Accra Circuit court hearing the case discharged Micah on Monday, with the trial judge citing a lack of evidence as the cause of the acquittal.

So police claimed he was arrested with the evidence, but were unable to make the charge stick. No wonder the Woyome’s of the land get to roam around all the time- those supposed to put them away no jack about their own jobs.
