It’s scary these days in Ghana: you either pay for what you don’t use or you never have something but you are compelled each month to pay out. If this is not illegal, then what else can be illegal in this world?

The fact that there is never a consistent flow of power or water in the cities is frustrating—but this graduates to a whole different level when you have to pay exorbitant prices for utilities which are never in existence.

Even right before the recent increased in utility tariff come to force, Ghanaians already have serious problems with the current tariff—with a young woman having taken to Facebook to pour out her anger.

Read it below…

“God was very unapologetic when he severally referred to people as fools in the Bible; hence i am extremely unapologetic and refer to this current government as bunch of fools. Yeah someone might argue there are few sensible ones in the bunch; but hey, they are not making much of an impact so they are very irrelevant.
I am fuming so much this day.

Infact President John Mahama and this govt are not only incompetent but they lack wisdom too.
I live in the village, i neither use Air conditioner, washing machine, microwave or any high consuming machinery and you send me a month bill of 240 cedis ($68 for my borgas). In fact i dont even use an iron.

I leave for work at 7:00 am and only return as early as 6:30 pm. Watch tv for 3 hours and off to bed. And you think there is so much activity in my life to warrant such a bill???

What the hell????

I can only boast of quarter current and at most half current these days when ECG is in a charitable mood…
This is not rocket science, this government can only be either theives or fools. (I leave them to choose). It just doesn’t make sense otherwise. We are having power crisis and the most Amazing solution you could come up is to increase electricity tarrifs and get power barges that consume as much fuel more than a rocket ship being launched into space. Who does that? ??

And one lady will come and sit on tv and give us “gifts of gab” and spew nothingness termed as english; in the name of purc.

Oh how bourgeois! !!

Infact this is the worst government to go into our history books.

Someone might is wrong to this but: seriously i think these people want to see a violent part of the Ghanaian people like in syria and the rest before they”ll get the message that we aint fools and they can’t take us for granted forever.
Phewww!!! Sooo much for an incompetent president with diarrhea of the mouth.”
