American Horror Story: Freak Show actress Rose Siggins has passed away at the age of 43.

TMZ reports  Siggins went in for a kidney stone surgery at a Denver hospital on Monday—but she sadly died on Saturday after she contracted an infection, which spread through her body and ultimately became fatal.

Reports indicate that a GoFundMe page has been created by her rep, James Mullen, to raise funds for the two children that she left behind.

She was survived by 16-year-old son, Luke, and 9-year-old daughter, Shelby.

“I’m sad to report that Rose has passed away this morning around 7:30 a.m.,” Mullen wrote on Saturday. “All funds raised will now be directed to final expenses and the continuing support of her children.”

“I suppose Elsa Mars said it best: ‘The death of a beloved monster is always a sorrow, but never a surprise. If oddly-formed organs or a random physical anomaly doesn’t claim them, then it is at the sheer density of their blaze. A carny’s life burns and brighter than most. It is bound to extinguish sooner,'” he added.

Siggins wrote on her website that she had both of her legs amputated at the age of two—because she was born with a rare genetic disorder called sarcal agenesis.

“I was born with a rare genetic disorder, known as Sacral Agenesis. If I was born today, my medical diagnosis could have been called Spinal Bifida. These two disabilities are very similar and very slightly. My legs were severely deformed with the feet pointing in opposite directions. This was not painful for me because I had no feeling in them. When you are an active child, at age two, your legs can become a danger to you. At this young age my parents consulted with several doctors, surgeons and specialists to find the best coarse of action for the useless legs. The big question weighing on my parents mind. Do we amputate? Or not? We could have her fitted into a wheelchair. What do you think they decided to do? There insightful decision allows me to lead a fairly normal childhood,” part of her ‘About Me’ tab on her website reads.

Rose Siggins portrayed Legless Suzi in the fourth season of “American Horror Story,” which aired from 2014 to 2015.

Rest In Peace Rose Siggins!!!
