Whenever you hear of such superstitious nonsense from Ghanaians, it is understandable when it involves the old generation, or at least people in their middle ages. But when it involves the next generation, it becomes even more disheartening.
Four students of the Koforidua Technical Institute were arrested by a group of concerned citizens and handed over to police- after being caught chanting incantations in a forest at night.
According to Starrfmonline– one of the students escaped- with the others handed over to the police.
When interrogated, the boys revealed that they were not engaged in any evil deeds, but were only engaged in what is described in local terms as ‘for girls’; which are spells intended to grab those who use it any girl they want.
My “for girls” worked perfectly well when I used it back in the day as a teenager. It ain’t superstition…??
