Actor Mark Salling was arrested by police in Los Angeles on Tuesday for possession of child p*rnography.

The 33 year old was targeted for a raid after police carefully gathered evidence, including an interview with an ex-girlfriend, TMZ reported.

LAPD’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force carried out the raid, and they are reported to have found over 1,000 images of children in s*xual acts on his desktop alone, with some of the children involved believed to be less than ten years old. More are expected to be found after police rummage through his mobile phone, tablet, and laptop.

Salling is most known for his role on popular musical ‘Glee’, as Noah ‘Puck’ Puckerman. After his arrest, he was granted bail in the sum of $20,000, pending his appearance before a judge. He was released after posting bail.
