Lil Kesh has finally congratulated his rival, Reekado Banks for winning the Next Rated Award at the 2015 edition of the Headies after their bosses engaged in a hot exchange of words.
As we reported earlier, Olamide felt cheated after his protégé Lil Kesh lost the Next Rated award to Reekado Banks, who is signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records.
“This award belongs to Lil Kesh. Lil Kesh is our own Next Rated artist. F**k that shit! The streets ti take over. Every f**king single was a hit back to back. From lyrically to Shoki to Efejoku. Ko ni dafun Iya anybody,” he fumed.
Don Jazzy replied him when he took to the stage for his Lifetime Achievement award. He said, “Egbon Olamide, if you want the car, come and take it.” (Next Rated win comes with a car)”.
However, Lil Kesh who wants to smoke the peace pipe sent a congratulatory message to Reekado Banks via twitter.
Reekado in acceptance thanked him. He simply wrote; “Thank you Kesh you are the man.”
