Kevin-Prince Boateng has returned to the club where he spent the best years of his career, rejoining Italian giants AC Milan.
Prince spent three memorable years at the San Siro during his first spell, winning the Scudetto and the Italian Super Cup in 2011, scoring 17 goals in 100 appearances, including some crackers in the UEFA Champions league.
He also cemented himself into the hearts of the club’s fans when he dressed as Michael Jackson to perform the moonwalk after Milan’s league win in 2011.
He left in 2013 to join Schalke 04 for €10m, but returns after falling out with his German club and terminating his contract. He joins on a six month deal, liable for renewal in the summer depending on performances.
His contract was deposited with the league on Monday, and the deal is set to be officially announced later Tuesday. He would have the chance to turn out for his new team when they take on Bologna in a Serie A game on Wednesday.
