Adom Fm has just reported that, fire is sweeping through the Achimota Forest in Accra—and this reminds us of one of Bishop Owusu Bempah’s prophesy that Ghana in 2016 will see fire outbreaks.
But then, which year in the history of Ghana don’t we get fire outbreaks at some market or forest?
Anyway, Fire Service officials, the Police and Volunteers are said to be battling the strong fire to being it under control but the high winds accompanying the dry harmattan is making this impossible
“The fire is said to to be spreading towards the Achimota Police Station and the buildings close to it. Most affected are the area close to the Greater Accra Regional offices of the Forestry Commission,” says Adom Fm.
