I Lost To Bukom Banku Because Of The Weight Difference- Ayittey Powers

Unable to shut his mouth, yet spewing gibberish whenever he speaks- that is the enigma known as Ayittey Powers.
For a boxer who has spent most of his career losing fights, he has a lot to say before they occur. And in the aftermath of a loss, his loquaciousness suffers none for it.
Ayittey, who has lost to Banku twice now, and was mercilessly pounded in the second fight, claims he mainly lost due to the difference in weight between the two of them. He claimed the weight issue meant he was ready to pull out, but he was forced to go ahead because his fans in Kumasi wanted to see him fight.
“Fighting is not an easy job. Bukom Banku weighs almost 98 and I weigh 93, if I should tell you the kind of punches I have been receiving in the ring, you people will clap your hands for me.” He said, speaking on radio A1.
“I didn’t want to fight because the weight was too much but people wanted to see the fight that is why I agreed to fight Bukom. It was like I was fighting Mike Tyson.” He continued.
He added that he threw in the towel because he developed a problem with his arm. That’s when the host asked him was quitting the right thing to do, considering he had lost the first bout?
“Boss, I had a problem with my arm so I had to throw in the towel. Why do people want me to die because of Range Rover?” he asked.
If it wasn’t sufficiently clear enough, it is now the kind of boxer Powers is. Besides, we thought he lost because he refused to listen to T.B Joshua?
