A doctor in Belgorod, near Russia’s south-western border with Ukraine, is in a whole lot of trouble after inadvertently killing a patient of his.
The incident occurred on December 29 last year at Belgorod’s City Hospital No. 2, and was captured on CCTV.
In the video, the doctor can be seen fighting with two people, the patient and another guy. He hits the patient only once, who falls down never to rise again.
Russian media reports that the fight commenced because the patient kicked a nurse, and the doctor was furious and thus attacked him.
According to CNN, he has been arrested and placed under house arrest, and would be tried for negligence. He faces up to two years in prison.
