A Conversation With A Ghanaian Fetish Priest Who is About to Kill North Korean Leader-Kim Jong-un for Just 150 GHS

Religion; be it Christianity, Islam or the infamous African traditional religion flourishes on the back of credulity and this absurd conception of the supernatural.
Instead of many of us coming to accept that there’s a lot out there in the universe we do not understand at this stage and that lack of understanding of something at a particular point in time in human civilisation does not automatically mean there’s any supernatural or God behind it–we jump to fill the gaps with a God.
Of course, the easiest lazy approach to dealing with ‘mystery’ is to invoke the supernatural explanation—and not to challenge ourselves through pragmatic steps to understanding what may seem strange from afar but sometimes, a closer look would offer a reasonable explanation.
For this, many of us have bought into the idea of a God including those called the lesser gods in certain parts of the world—the sort of concept which brings huge business to countless fetish priests like Nana Bisanguraade, the one I encountered on facebook today.
It’s amazing how these fetish priests have taken to social media to solicit for clients. A few weeks ago, just before Christmas, I had a chat with another—who also wanted to help me.

Let me mention at this stage that, these fetish priests are no different to the many pastors who would take money from you in return for prayers—or ask that you sow some seed for a divine blessing from a celestial father.
The truth is; they all want to fill their pockets with your money and do not have any relationship with any supernatural being; in fact, nothing like that exists.
If Nana Bisanguraade had access to gods or some dark powers, he wouldn’t have wasted his time chatting with someone like me; for the simple reason that, his gods would have told him the kind of idiot I am when it comes to the idea of a God.
Yet, because this man is just one of the many scammers who hide under the cloak of a god to swindle credulous faith-bearing individuals, his ‘try your luck’ business model brought him to me.
After making contact with me and introducing himself as a powerful fetish priest capable of doing whatever I want for me—I ignored him for several days but he kept pushing.
So I decided to spend a few minutes of my time to find out the sort of nonsense this man has been dishing out to people, such that he is so convinced I would be interested.

Of course his English is bad; probably, his gods have no interest in education so we can spare him that. But calling his claim of going to kill one of the notorious dictators on the world-Kim Jong-un for me easily if I provided him with 150GHS, less than 25 pounds, a hogwash is an understatement.
This is the sort of absurd claims all those who assert they have special access to some powerful invisible God make; they can help you have a baby, find a job or guide you to find your way to an invisible utopian world, called heaven or paradise.
It is plain bollocks but shocking, millions of people fall for the old supernatural trick, which has existed for centuries—and has been exposed, with myriad of reasonable evidence as false and a lazy approach to understanding our universe.
If it was that easy for Kim Jong-un to be killed, South Korea would have paid this con man millions of dollars to end their endless fear.
Knowing that a lot of people pay attention to folks like Nana Bisanguraade or sophisticated versions such as the numerous pastors championing the idea of the supernatural is really sad. But that’s reality for us.

He seems desperate for the money because his boy was at the mobile office in less than an hour. I can’t stop laughing
